Abscess will be midline. Suppurative wnode will be medial to the carotid

Kawaski, Scrofula
What is PHACES?
Posterior fossa (dandy walker) Hemangiomas Arterial Anomalies Coarctation of aorta, cardiac defects Eye abnormalities Subglottic hemangiomas
Location of subglottic hemangioma
assymmetric narrowing of the subglottic trachea (usually left).
Two associations with subglottic hemangiomas
50% cutaneous hemangiomas
7% have PHACES
Max distance allow for prevert ST on lateral in peds?
6mm C2, 22mm at C6
3 Associations with meconium aspiration?
Ropy appearance of lung densities
Hyperinfliation with alternating atelectasis
Pneumothorax 20-40%
What gestational age is meconium aspiration common?
