A

Proximal obstruction: abdominal distention is less frequent, but bilious emesis is usually present

Distal obstruction: abdominal distention usually present

A

An intrauterine focal mesenteric vascular accident

–jejunoileal atresia IS NOT associated with other abnormalities. The one exception is cystic fibrosis
