Forgiveness
Jesus preached forgiveness often. The Lord will forgive you if you repent and are truly sorry and we should do the same.

Prejudice
The bible teaches not to treat another man as inferior.

War
War is only right and just when is follows the Just War Theory:
-Must be a last resort
-Must have just cause (e.g: self defence)
-Must be a reasonable chance of winning and bringing peace
-Must be declared by a legitimate authority
-Only proportional force to be used (e.g: no WMDs)
-Innocent civilians should not be attacked
Torture
Torture is always wrong as it is illegal, barbaric and inhuman.

Violence
Violence is a rejection of the ideals God wanted for the world.
Justice
God teaches that everyone should be treated fairly.
Justice helps God’s kingdom grow on Earth.

Righteous Anger
Can be used effectively to help create justice
Like Jesus in the temple
Holy War
A Holy War must be approved by a religious leader with great authority.
The purpose would be to defend the Christian faith from attack.
Must follow Just War Theory
Pacifism and Peacemaking
Catholics advocate peace for all but appreciate that force may be used in self defence or protecting the weak.
Radical pacifism is not preached.

Terrorism
Catholics oppose terrorism in every situation as it violates the state of peace God wants.
