Ability of the muscles to exert force over an extended period
Muscular Endurance
Your muscles’ ability to exert a maximum amount of force in one effort
Muscular Strength
Your muscles and joints’ to move through their full range of motion
Flexibility
Your body’s ratio of lean muscle to stored fat
Body Composition
Composed of speed, power, agility, balance, coordination, and reaction time
Skill-related components
-Ability to perform an action as fast as possible
Speed
-Ability to exert the maximum amount of force in the shortest possible time
Power
-Ability to change direction or position rapidly and accurately
Agility
-Ability to maintain a stable position while in a stationary position or while moving
Balance
-Ability to use different body parts in performing more than one motor movement at a time
Coordination
-Amount of time it takes for the body to respond
