What is a pay less notice?
A
A written notification from the employer to the contractor of their intention to pay less than the value stated in their previous payment notice.

What must a pay less notice include?
A
Issued within time, minimum 5 days prior to the final date for payment
the basis on which the sum was calculated.
Must show the actual amount to be paid.

Why might a pay less notice be issued?
A
If you are the payer and you wish to reduce the sum which has already been certified in the payment period. It may be issued in the event that a payment notice is not issued within 5 days due date.

A
5 days prior to final date for payment.
