inside cage/pen/stall…clean, bedding, etc
macro environment management
outside of the cage…noise, temp, exercise
medical management in hospital
fluid therapy (iv, orally, sub q, shot), nutrient intake (food, iv, formula/food tube)
medicine management
oral, sub q, iv, intra nasal, intra muscular, sub i, topical, ip, intra oral, nebulizer
diagnostics management
radio graph, temperature, blood work, urine/fecal analysis, biopsys, ultra sound
behavior management
muzzle, not all animals need restraint, comfort, decrease stress, treats=happiness, individual attention, provide toys
goal
improve quality of life (by giving comfort physically (bedding) and mentally (individual attention, toys, food), given clean food/water, medicines in a timely manage, correct medicine, manage environment, pain management, euthanasia)
