  • right dorso-ilial
  • left dorso-lial
  • dorso-pubic = upside-down
17
Q

2 positions of transverse presentation

A
  • right cephalo-ilial = calf’s head on right of dam

- left cephalo-ilial = calf’s head on left of dam

18
Q

Posture

A

relationship of extremities to body of fetus

extended or flexed (neck and limbs)

Q

NORMAL presentation, position, and posture

A

anterior longitudinal presentation

Q

What happens in the third stage of parturition?

A

expulsion of fetal membranes (1/2 hr to 8 hours) [up to 24 hrs can still be ok]

involution of uterus to open state

21
Q
