What is a personal pronoun
A pronoun that refers to a specific person or thing. There are two types of these, subject personal pronouns and object personal pronouns. Subject personal pronouns come before the verb, object personal pronouns go after the verb.
What are some examples of personal pronouns
Subject personal pronouns: I do my work You do your work She does her work He does his work
Object personal pronouns:
Sally came with me
The teacher asked you
Mary told them
What are possessive pronouns
Indicate ownership and come after the noun
What are some examples of possessive pronouns
The work is mine
That pen is hers
The book is yours
What is a demonstrative pronoun
They identify, point to, or refer to nouns. As soon as they come before noun then they are adjectives
