A

To magnify a certain object or detail (to show it’s of importance in the scene), it takes us into the mind of the character because it is an intimate shot (in real life we only ever get that close to our mothers, children and lovers), to make us feel extra comfortable or extra uncomfortable about a character, to show facial expression and emotions the character may be feeling

A

To show a scene directly over head from a verb unnatural/ strange angle, makes the people photographed seem inferior and insignificant, puts the audience in a godlike position
