The Journey
Lemnion woemen (cursed to stink for neglecting aphro) Jason got Hysipye preggo then left. Phineas and the harpies (blind seer). Symplegades tries to crush heros so sent dove through. Colchis has fleet says sure so gives J tasks. Fire breathing bull (medea gives flame retardant), army from soil (tosses rock and they fight), serpent for tree (Medea gives potion). King gives chase w Apsyrtus (Med’s bro) in lead that they dismemeber and toss peice by piece over. Planctae, sirencs, Tallus (bronze bull on Crete that Medea knows the weak spot blood vesel). Make it back and King says psyche! Medea convinces his daughters to chop him up to rejuvanate him, acused on murder so flees. Recieved by Creon and his daughter Glauce
Jason’s Return and Medeas Revenge
Jason and Medea have kids, J mad cuase he wanted a regal kingly position. His kids arn’t citizens so wants legit marriage. Asks for Glauce so next in line. Medea mad so makes wedding presnt a cown and sends her kids w it, it stick to glacue and burts into flames consuming her and Creon. Wants to hurt Jason more so murders her kids (J says i brought you to civilization). Then climbs into charitot from helios and leaves. Jason alone takes a walk and gets hit by a piece of the Argo and dies.
The founding of Thebes
Zeus sees Europa and goes hot damn, becomes bull and takes her. Her bro Cadmus goes in search and pracle says just found a city instead. Kills serpernt plants teeth and humans sporut. Labdacus then Lycus then Laius. Laius broke Xenia by kidnapping Chrysippus
Oedipus the start of the madness.
Laius and Jocasta. hears prophasy that son will kill her and marry mom so when born leaves him exposed but servent gives him to shepard who brings him to Corinthian King who couldn’t have kids. Oed hears people talk about him so goes to oracle and then leaves Corinth cause doesn’t want to make prophecy true. On road meets Lauius who won’t move and so kills him. Goes to city and meets reagent Creon and Jocasta who says you can marry her if kill sphinx, gets riddle and solves it so spyinx dead. Marries mom and 4 kids, then plauge, asks oracle why? Says its one individual. AnGNORISIS discovery scene Jo kills herself and Oed blinds himself.
Oedipus after
Antigone and Ismene daughters take care of him, no one wanted them but theseus. Creon wants to kill Oed, Polynices wants throne so goes to dad and asks for permission to attack bro. Heck no! Curses him. Oed goes to sacred grove and diapears, only Thes knows.
Oedipus’s children
Eteocles and his bro Polynices dishournoured Oed cause they served him a small portion of meat so curesed them to always be at war and divide the kingdom bewteen themselves. Each rules in alternative years but when Eteocles was supose to give it back he didn’t so polunices attacked kingdom the seven gates. then the two bros hand to hand and both die. Creo takes ctrl and Eteocles gets funeral but Polynices doesn’t. Antigone thinks that’s divine injustance so burries bro, then Creon digs up again, Ismene pleads with sis not to but Antigone throwns more soil on. Caught arrested and thrown into a cave. Was betrothed to Creons son Haemon who pleads. Creon i’m not gonna kill her just put her in a cave. Haemon commits suicide, Creon reconsiders bu too late, she already killed herself.
The start of Mycenaean Cycle
Tantalus feeds his son Pelops to the gods. Only dementer eats. Reasembled Peplos out of piety, Poseidon loved him so gave him horses. King Oiomaos having compitition for daughter a chariot race. Both peopel have magic hores. Hipodemia falls in love with Pep so goes to Myrtilus and puts wax spoke in wheel. Peplos wins and Myrilus asks for sex so Peplos gets mad and throws him over clif. Myrilus curses him. Has two sons who fight over kingdom (Thyestes and Atrius). Goldon ram wins. Thy steals ram so Atrius kiils his son and cooks him. Atrius kids are Menelaeus and Agamemmnon. Thy has one last kid, Aegisthus. At Aulis the wind won’t blow so Agammenenon sacrifies daughter to Atrimus to set sail.
Mycenae After the War. Agamemmnon
Ag returns after 10 years and wife Cytemnestra starts affair with Aegisthus (Thyestes son). Aga brings back Cassandra and wife kills Agaam over daughters death. Orestes the son returns and Apollo says hes got to kill dad. but blood gulit. Oresteus meets up with sis Electra and they kill. Orestes haunted by furies and Areopagus has trial and split juys so Athena comes down and frees him.
The start of the Trojan war
Zeus goes to Leda, gives birth to two eggs with two ests of twins pollux/Helen, Castor/Clytemnestra. Prophacy that son will destroy Troy. Paris born and exposed but raied by bear. Eris gives apple to fairest and Paris has to judge so chooses Aphrodite and the woemen. Paris steals her and goes back to Troy. Menalalas had deal with suitors so calls Kings and a thousand ships launched.
Greeks and Trojans involved
Greek: Agammemnon, Menelalus, Diomedes, Odysseus, Ajax, Patrocles, Achillis.
Trojan: Priam/Hecuba, Paris, Hector/Andromache, Aeneas and Sarpedon
The Iliad
Set in 10th year, 40days. 3 acts: Achillias anger, rage and reconciliation. Agammemnon refused to return trojan preist of apollo Chryses daughter back so curses with plauge, returns Chryseis to Chryses, still wants prize so Briseis, but Achilles says no shes mine. Agam threathens so Achillies stops fighting. (Hector about to leave and his wife tells him how to beat the greeks, Hector knows troy will fall and hops for his son and wife). Patroclus pleads with Achillias to return to war but he doesn’t so borrows his armour instead. Hector sees thinks it’s achillias and kills him taking the armour. Achillias returns heartbroken and its A vs. H and hectors stabbed and he begs and tells A that Paris will kill you. A drags the body behind his chariot evey day. Priam wants son back so goes to A and begs.
The End og the Iliad
Trojans call for help from azamons and ethiopians, Paris kills achillies with arrow. Greeks build giant horse as gift to Athena/Poseidon for safe journey and sail around the island so they’re not seen. Priam killed by Achillias son, Hecuba/Andromache sold to slavery, Hectors son thrown off walls, Aeneas escapes with help from Aphro.
The Odyssey
Nostos, return. Od wakes up w Callypso then backtrack to Cyclopse, and Sirens, Scylla/Charmbois, The sun gods cows, the underwrold, Circe the sorceresss, then to the Penethians and the back. Son telmachas is fending off suitors, Od wins a bow fight and splits 12 axes and wins back Penelope. Must dedicate paddle to Poseidon meets Telegones (his son w Circe) who kills him so Poseiodon’s last revenge.
