When is a person entitled to register an aircraft in PNG
After lawful possession of the aircraft for 28 days or longer
What is the duration of a certificate of registration
It remains valid until 28 days after owner no longer possesses the aircraft or ceases to have lawful entitlement to the aircraft, or it is suspended or revoked
Where must registration markings be located on a rotorcraft
1) on the bottom of the fuselage; and
2) on both sides of the fuselage cabin or tail boom
What is the margin required for the placement of registration markings
At least 5 cm (50mm) along each edge of the surface to which they are affixed
What is the required height and location of registration markings on a helicopter
On the bottom surface of the fuselage or cabin and not less than 25 cm (250 mm)
What is the requirement and location of an identification plate
1) an identification plate must be etched, stamped, or engraved with nationality and registration, and
2) must be of fireproof metal or other suitable fireproof material
2) must be permanently affixed in a prominent position near the main point of entrance to the aircraft
