Select Committee - Windrush Scandal and Amber Rudd

- Chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee at the time Yvette Cooper questioned Amber Rudd (Home Secretary at the time) if she had set a target for removal of immigrants which she denied. It was later found in a leaked memo that she had set a target to reduce immigrant numbers meaning she had misled the committee on at least one occasion. She resigned for this reason.
