Q

Why are the second homes often in rural locations?

A
  • Older people/ people who buy homes here tend to have a greater level of ‘accumulated wealth’ - want to be spending their time out of the bussel of the city
  • There is a greater amount of leisure time, especially in retirement (Welson,2010)
