Glucoregulation is the maintenance of steady levels of glucose in the blood stream

Hormones are released by the pancreas, these hormones are insulin and glucose
This process is closely related to the dietary intake of nutrients
The hypothalamus monitors blood glucose levels and detects changes. This process is called negative feedback
Insulin works to reduce the amount of glucose in the blood by promoting the absorption of glucose into the liver, converting glucose to glucagon.
