Background of PAC

A

In April 1959 the PAC was launched as an expressly Africanist organisation.
Robert Subokwe was its first president and **Potlako Leballo* its national secretary. Both were former members of the ANC youth league but beloved ANC was out of touch and lacked the necessary militancy to bring about real change.
