End on 1970s, decolonisation took place across most of Africa = New independent states with majority black rule. 1963, the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) had been formed, commited to ending Apartheid. 1969 the Lusaka Manifesto, issued a group of African countries that promised to support groups trying to achieve liberation from white rule.
