- anticoags
- diuretics
- lithium

- gastric protection with PPI
- problems with ASA
- salt-retaining (causes fluid retention)

Inhibits COX2 (reduces PG, prostacyclin)

helps elderly with GI bleed but increases CVD problems

- Constituative
- gastric mucosa, kidney, platelets
- Prostaglandins (protect gastric mucosa, dilate afferent artery glomerus)
- Thromboxanes (vasocontriction, platelet aggregation)
