➢ Lillie’s: 28%NH3 H2O, acetone + H2O2 (wash in 70% Alcohol)
WASHING OUT USING PICCRIC ACID
➢ Sat. Li2CO3 in 70 % EA
➢ 70% EA then 5% Na thiosulfate
➢ Lenoir’s solution: conc. NH4Ac, 95% EA & dist. H2O
WASHING OUT USING MERCURIC FIXATIVE
➢ 0.5% Iodine solution in 70% ethanol (5-10 mins
➢ Decolorizer: 5% Na thiosulfate
➢ Langeron’s iodine: I2 crystals, KI, Dist H2O
WASHING OUT USING MELANINE
➢ KMnO4 (decolorize)
