A

Also called wry neck

What is torticollis caused by?

A

Damage to neck muscles or blood supply
Can be congenital or acquired
Head may be in the wrong position in the womb

Types of torticollis

A

Fixed: problem with none of muscular structure
Temporary: disappears after one or 2 days due to swollen lymph nodes, ear infection, cold or an injury to the head
