Takeoff and Initial Climb

A
  1. Taxi onto runway once cleared.
  2. Power full and feet off brakes.
  3. Check engine gauges while accelerating.
  4. Rotate at vr @60kts and apply rudder to compensate for left turning tendency.
  5. Maintain centerline.
    6 After liftoff maintain vy (76) and trim.
  6. Retract flaps if applicable.
  7. Maintain vy.
  8. Remain at vy untill 1000
  9. At 1000ft verify checklist.

Slow Flight 55-60kts.

A
  1. Choose heading and altitude.
  2. Enter maneuver so recovery can be made above 2,000 agl.
  3. Trim aircraft, stabilize, and enter at va (113kts).
  4. Power 1500 rpm.
  5. Flaps extend one notch at a time once in white arc.
  6. Apply pitch to avoid ballooning effect.
  7. Maintain heading and altitude.
  8. Gradually increase power to maintain airspeed just above stall speed.
  9. perform coordinated half rate turns.

Power Off Stall

A
  1. Trim aircraft, stabilize and enter below va
  2. Power 1500 rpm.
  3. Flaps extend one notch at a time and apply pitch to avoid ballooning.
  4. At 66kts establish stabilized descent to simulate normal approach attitude.
  5. Power idle.
  6. Pitch.
  7. Power full.
  8. Flaps retract one notch at a time but not the last once established at vy.
  9. Once established at vy, level off and return to cruise power.

Power On Stall

A
  1. Choose heading.
  2. Trim aircraft, stabilize, and enter at or below va 104kts.
  3. power 1500 rpm.
  4. Maintain heading and altitude.
  5. Slow aircraft to 65 kts.
  6. Power full.
  7. Increase pitch until stall occurs.
  8. Decrease Pitch.
  9. Power full.
