PA Flashcards

1
Q

Endurance Training parameters for chronic heart failure patients?

A

2-3x per week

Start with 2 weeks of training at 40-50% of VO2max

Interval: 4x4min at 80-90% of VO2max (17-18 Borg), active rest at 40-50% of VO2max (12-13 Borg)

Endurance: Gradual increase from 50-80% of VO2max

VO2max below 17.5ml/kg/min? –> 2x 15min interval per day

VO2max above 17.5ml/kg/min? 1x 20-30min
