Disadvantages of a named Top-down development strategy
-NNPC was found to be corrupted
-over deducted 28.5 billion Naira, taking too much
-‘lost’ $16 billion
Advantages of a named bottom up development strategy

-tests for HIV as well as other infections
- protect children against polio
- trains women to educate mothers about importance of immunising their children
Disadvantages of a named bottom up strategy
-Boko Haram means that it isn’t secure and could be destroyed
-only reaches a small number of people within Nigeria, doesn’t help whole country
