OVER HEAD PANEL Flashcards
PTU (DARK)
Operates when GREEN & YELLOW pressure differs >500 psi
RAT MAN ON
Extends automatically when AC Bus 1 & 2 are lost
Do not need power to manually deploy
CAB FANS (OFF)
Stops the 2 cabin recirculation fans
DITCHING
5…
Closes the (1) outflow valve, (2) emergency ram air inlet, (3) avionics ventilation inlet, (4) extract valves, (5) pack flow control valve
…
Closes all valves below the water line
COMMAND (EVAC)
Activates the evacuation tone in the cabin and flashes the EVAC lights at the FWD and AFT attendant panels
CAPT + PURS/CAPT
- Evacuation alert may be activated from either the flight deck or the cabin
- Evacuation alert may be only activated from the flight deck
EMER GEN TEST
When pressed and held, the emergency generator is tested
GEN 1 LINE (SMOKE)
Smoke detected in avionics compartment and sheds 75% of its load and energizes one pump in each wing
RAT & EMER GEN
Loss of power to AC BUS 1 & 2 AND the emergency generator is not supplying power
MAN ON AUTO
AC BUS 1 & 2 are down AND aircraft speed is greater than 100 knots
