What causes an auricular haematoma and what is the treatment
Occurs after trauma
management:
- incision and drainage
- pressure dressing
- antibiotics
What does a pressure dressing do to an auricular haematoma
It prevents the reaccumulation of the haematoma

Button battery > organic > inorganic

Inflammation of the external auditory meatus
