A

Combination of environmental and genetic factors. Autosomal dominant pattern however no specific mutations.

A

Otoscopy normal. Weber’s normal if bilateral and Rinne’s test shows conductive hearing loss.

Management of otosclerosis

A

Conservative with the use of hearing aids.
Surgical - stapedectomy or stapedotomy
