Yes, this is called DUAL SIM.
What are SIM cards?
This is a small card that contains infomration that allows the phone to authenticate a device for mobile telephone and data providers.
It can also hold personal data such as personal contacts and text messages.
What is the purpose of DUAL SIM?
This allows for a number for personal use and one for professional use.
What wiring is useful in mobile connectivity?
Mini-USB. USB C. Lightning. Micro-USB. Proprietary Cables.
What are Mini-USB cables used for?
To connect to an electrical outlet for charge, or to another device to transfer charge or data.
What are USB C cables used for?
To connect to an electrical outlet for charge, or to another device such as a laptop to transfer charge or data.
What are Lightning cables used for?
To connect Apple devices to host computers and other peripherals.
This includes USB battery charges, monitors and cameras.
It is the same form factor as USB C and will work with their ports. However, USB C may not work with Lghtning ports.
What are Micro-USB cables used for?
To connect to an electrical outlet for charge, or to another device to transfer charge or data.
What are Proprietary cables? What are they used for?
These are vendor specifc cables that do vendor speciic functions.
They only work with their specific deviecs.
What Wireless communication is there with mobile devices?
Near Field Communication (NFC).
Infrared (IR)
Bluetooth.
What is NFC? How is it used?
Near Field Communication is a wireless technology, that enables mobile devices to establish radio communication with other mobile devices by placing them close togetehr, or touching them together.
How is Infrared used?
If a device is IR enabled, then it can eb used to communicate with other IR devices remotely.
This includes TVs, Set top boxes or audio equipment.
What is Bluetooth? How is it used?
A wireless technology that allows for communication over short distances between two bluetooth enabled devices.
It allows for data exchange and connection with peripheral devices such as headsets.
What are the two options for sharing an internet connection?
Tethering and Mobile Hotspots.
