Clinical significance of opthalmic veins anatomy.

A

Anterior and inferior opthalmic veins are connected to facial vein and eventually draining to cavernous sinus. Cavernous sinus communicates with veins at the base of the brain, so bacterial infection in this system of veins can be very serious.
