What is Osmosis?
A
Osmosis is a special case of diffusion. It is the net movement of water molecules from an area of higher water concentration to an area of lower water concentration. In layman’s terms it is the diffusion of water molecules.

A
Water concentration is the amount or water or water content in a solution compared to the solute.

If Beaker A has a higher solute concentration than Beaker B and the two are connected through a semi permeable membrane what will happen to Beaker A and B

Beaker A will gain more water molecules due to osmosis.
While,
Beaker B will lose water molecules due to osmosis.
