FORCE FIELD MODEL (LEWIN)

A

o Kurt lewin proposed that the status quo is held in place driving factors pushing for change interacting with resisting factors pushing for stability.
o Thus lewin argued, it is possible to alter the
Status quo by identifying these factors,
then increasing the driving factors or
reducing the resisting factors
o This is useful model as it forces managers
To examine the business before they can
Take steps to effectively implement change
