Tibialis Posterior
O: shaft of tibia and fibula
I: Navicular, cuneiforms, second third and fourth metatarsal bones
A: Inversion - main dynamic stabiliser of hindfoot against eversion (valgus) forces.
Flexor hallucis longus
O: posterior fibula
I: Base of distal phalynx
A: flexes all joints of great toe, PF
Peroneus brevis
O: Lateral 2/3 lateral fibula
I: Base of 5th metatarsal
A: PF, eversion
Peroneus longus:
O: Lateral upper shaft of fibula
I: 1st metatarsal and medial cuneiform
A: PF, eversion
ATFL
tiup of fibula anteriorly to lateral talar neck.
PTFL
runs posteriorly from fibula to the talus
Deltoid/medial
fan shaped. medial malleolus to navicular and talus, inferiorly to calcaneus and posteriorly to deltoid
