A
  • Clear division of business units (departments)
  • PMs don’t have a lot of authority, functional manager has the say and manages the budget
  • Usually the PM is in a part time role with their other time being spent on operations

A
  • Similar to Functional organization
  • Much larger with replication of the roles for each department
  • PM has little authority, functional manager is the highest authority
