What are the consequences of Organ stunning due to Hypotension?
A
o Heart: Acute stress on the cardiovascular system, development of LV regional wall motion
abnormalities (RWMAs), arrhythmias, can lead to cardiac failure
o Gut: Releases endotoxin into circulation, inflammation
o Kidneys: Causes fibrosis, loss of residual renal function
o Brain: Causes multiple sites with white matter injury
