o Headache, hypertension, nausea, restlessness, seizures, confusion, blurred vision

o Slower BFR and DFR than CKD patients, shorter initial treatments

Prevention?

o Early recognition of mild symptoms
o Decrease efficiency of dialysis by:
– Less efficient dialyzer
– Decreased treatment time
– Decreased BFR and DFR treatment
– Shorter, more frequent dialysis
