(Absorica, Amnesteem)** Claravis, Myorisan, Zenatane
- Rx: capsules
- only FDA approved for severe, refractory, nodular acne
- Birth defects - sign form (boxed warning)
- Rems: 1 month rx at a time
- 2 neg pregnancy tests prior to tx
- do not get preg, breastfeed, or donate blood until 1 month has passed
- warnings: dry skin, chapped lips, dry eyes
-Counseling: pregnancy test monthly basis. 2 forms of BC (cannot use a progestin-only pill). Carry bottled water, eye drops, and lip balm
