Thrust Levers above 60 degrees AND Flaps not in T/O and/or parking brake is on and/or Pitch not in green and/or Spoilers deployed
How many Channels Stall Protection System (SPS)? and disable how?
2…quick disconnect button on yoke when held down….or Stall protection 1 and 2 buttons can be tuned off
SPS/ICE SPEEDS means what?
Ice protection logic is active
What flap settings are affected by SPS/ICE SPEEDS?
9, 18, AND 22….stall protection occurs at lower angle of attack when active
When is SPS/ICE SPEEDS inhibited
within 5 minutes after T/O, can only be reset on ground with SPS test button
Stick pusher inhibited
on ground except test mode below .5g if button pushed below 200 ft if any cutout buttons released above 200 knots If one channel is INOP
SPS Test button is lit…what does it mean
not tested or failed test
What do Pitch Limit Indicators show?
remaining pitch margin until shaker
Are pitch limit Indicators or Low Speed Awareness displays corrected for Mach compensation at higher altitudes or excessive AOA rate?
Pitch Limit…yes….Low speed awareness, no
When do you see Pitch Limit Indicators on EADI?
When 10 degrees to shaker
TOO LOW GEAR when? (EGPWS)
descent below 500 AGL, 190 knots or less
TOO LOW FLAPS when? (EGPWS)
245 AGL 159 knots with gear down and flaps not configured
