ORAL* E145 Hydraulics Flashcards
How many Pumps in each systemM/
2…one engine driven and one electric
Difference between HYD 1 and HYD 2
HYD 1 has a priority valve
HYD 1 systems
Ailerons, Rudder, Gear, Main Door, Steering, outboard brakes, Reverser 1, Inboard spoilers
HYD 2 systems
Ailerons, inboard brakes, Reverse 2, Emergency Brake, Outboard Spoilers
What pressurizes the hydraulic reservoir
Fluid drained from the pressure line
How can hyd. shutoff valves close?
Pull fire handle, or with button on overhead panel
Pressure from Engine Driven pumps?
3000 psi at 9.8 gallons per minute
Pressure from Electric Pumps?
2900 at .7 gallons per minute
In AUTO, when do electric pumps turn on
pressure below 1600 psi or associated engine n2 < 56.4%
What does priority valve on HYD 1 do?
If Engine Pump has failed, it gives priority to Flight controls instead of landing gear. Landing gear will extend with accumulator pressure in this case
How many accumulators each side?
1
What does accumulator in system 1 do?
Reduce surges and keep 3000 psi for landing gear ops
What does accumulator in system 2 do?
Reduce surges and keep 3000 psi for emergency/parking brake
When does priority valve begin to close?
< 2600 psi in HYD 1
HYD Overheat temp?
90 C
