What are abrasions caused by?
-Friction between an object and the surface of the skin
How do you treat an abrasion?
-Treated by cleaning, sometimes scrubbing, then apply antibiotic ointment
What is a contusion known as?
-Bruise

-Bleeding disorders

-They are on blood thinners or they might have a platelet disorder

What are 5 factors to consider before reimplanting avulsed teeth?
- The avulsed tooth should have no advanced periodontal disease
- Alveolar socket should be reasonably intact to provide a seat for the avulsed tooth
- No orthodontic contraindication such as significant crowding of teeth
- Extra-alveolar period should be considered
- Stage of root development should be evaluated
How long is to long to replace an avulsed tooth?
-More than 2 hours are usually associated with poor results (but it is still possible for them to take)
