Myadric/Cycloplegic (anti-muscarinic - dilates the pupil) for eye examination and uveitis
Cyclopentolate
Myadric/Cycloplegic (anti-muscarinic - dilates the pupil) - child eye examination
Phenylephrine
Myadric/Cycloplegic (anti-muscarinic - dilates the pupil) - To visualise the retina
Pilocarpine
Miotic (Contracts iris and ciliary muscle to decrease IOP) - ACAG and Ocular Hypertension
Timolol
B-Blocker (reduces production if aqueous humour) - Open angle and secondary Glaucoma
Latanoprost/Bimetoprost
Prostaglandin analogue (Increases ourflow of aqueous humour) - Open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension
Brimonidine
Sympathomimetic (Decreases synthesis of aqueous humour and increases outflow) - Open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension
Acetazolamide
Carbonic anhydrase inhibor - Glaucoma - short term for closed angle and long term for open angle
Prednisolone
Steroid - reduce inflammation and allergic reactions in the eye
Lacrilube
Dry eyes - White parrafin lubricant
Celluvisc
Dry eyes - Carmellose sodium gel
Hypromellose
Dry eyes - artificial tears.
