A
- Start on ASIS
- move to AIIS
- Flex hip
- Palpate distally to its attachment at tibial tuberosity

A
- Put your person in external rotation
- have person extend leg
- start on tibial tuberosity
- Palpate superiorly to where you lose it under rectus femoris

- Palpate distally to tibial tuberosity

- roll off hamstring medially
