Indications

- significant nausea AND/OR vomiting

Contraindications

Absolute
- allergy/adverse drug reactions
- congenital long QT syndrome
- apomorphine therapy (parkinson’s disease)
- patients less than 2yrs
Relative
- first trimester pregnancy (only for extreme hyperemesis)

- ampoule, 4mg/2mL
- orally disintegrating tablet, 4mg

must not be given within 8hrs of previous dose
