hot flushes, weight gain, thromboembolism, endometrial hyperplasia
how do chemotherapeutic agents work?
usually target a part of the cell cycle to prevent cell division and proliferation

what are some bladder consequences of cyclophosphamide?
haemorrhagic cystitis

what are the main SE of cytotoxic antineoplastic drugs?
alopecia, bone marrow suppression, damage to mucous membranes, delayed healing, teratogenicity
what type of drug is methotrexate? how does it work?
Folic acid antagonist. Inhibits DNA synthesis and cell replication by competitively inhibiting the conversion of folic acid to folinic acid
what are some SE of adriamycin?
cardiac toxicity
what are some SE of oncovan?
peripheral neuropathy
what is a SE of bleomycin?
pulmonary inflammation
