A
  1. when you approach block head
  2. ask questions(wheres pain)
  3. wiggle toes/ fingers
  4. Any tingling/numbness call 911
  5. palpate muscles of cervical spine

A
  1. Ask athlete what happened/ any MOI

2. Ask athlete if their dizzy, nauseous, headache

How to rule out fractures/ dislocations

A

fractures- tap test (on either side of bone)
- compression test (squeeze parallel bones together)

Dislocation- observe for abnormality ( use uninjured)
- fee for abnormality
