Lateral excursion:
Working & non-working side
Movement Right:
Working = right: rotate, down, forward, lateral non-working= left: orbiting, down, forward, medial
Articulator:
15o Bennet angle= non working side, sagittal plane
Balancing side:
mvmt FROM direction md moves (not to)
Retruded condylar axis:
both condyle in retrusion
Michigan Splint steps:
- Impression > alginate of both arches
- Transfer records > facebow
- Mount Cast on articulator (semi-adj)
- Block out undercuts
- Splint fabrication > Flat Occ= point contact for Bu cusp Md and premolars, - Canine and Incisor contact narrow ant ledge
>Ant ramp= guide canine/ant lateral (protrusive mvmt) - Intraoral adj> Firm and comfortable fit
>Occ table= even bilateral contact in retrusion and long centric
>Ant ramp= guidance w/o molar contact
