and contact GP within two days for replacement if pregnancy test positive (labetalol/nifediipine

What are the antenatal monitioring requirements for women with chronic HTN

aspirin 75mg for PET prophylaxis

BP measured every week before control
every 3-4w if conttrolled
Urine dips

Reduce salt, exercise, lifestyle

If stable Anti HTN and <140 keep
aim for >135
Add labetalol> nifedipine to regulate

Intrapartum and Postnatal monitoring for women with chronic HTN

Intrapartum - if BP controlled no IOL
if >160- senior input and IOL before 37

Postnatal - monitor daily for 2 days -= aim dsicharge with <140
as clinically needed continue anti HTN
GP review after 2w
