What happens in Central Retinal Vein Occlusion?
A
The central retinal vein which drains the used blood out of the retina becomes clogged, causing the blood to leak into the retina and results in edema of the macular region.

Either small scattered retinal hemorrhages or deep retinal hemorrhage can be viewed.
