Loss of DTRs, respiratory paralysis, cardiac failure, vision changes
What is the treatment of magnesium sulfate overdose?
stop MgSO4 drip, administer calcium gluconate
trichomoniasis
copious, malodorous (fishy), greenish-gray, frothy discharge.
Vulvar and vaginal epithelium may be erythematous and edematous.
colposcopy reveals petechial cervical lesions.
wet mount reveals mobile trichomonads and PMNs.
TX = metronidazole; treat partner also
cystosarcoma phyllodes
slow growing and usually benign tumor that grows very large.
Tumor is freely mobile, usually 4-5cm, and well-circumscribed.
TX: resection
