trichomoniasis

A

copious, malodorous (fishy), greenish-gray, frothy discharge.
Vulvar and vaginal epithelium may be erythematous and edematous.
colposcopy reveals petechial cervical lesions.
wet mount reveals mobile trichomonads and PMNs.

TX = metronidazole; treat partner also
