DV%, Ingredient List, Food Additives

- Percent Daily Value (%DV) - Tells you if a serving is high or low in a specific nutrient. (5% or less is low and 20% or more is high)
- Largest ingredient on the list is always listed first.
- Look for food additives
- These are substances intentionally added to foods to give them a desired effect
- They can change the way foods taste, make them last longer on grocery store shelves, or even change the color of the food.
