Nuclear proliferation maybe vertical and horizontal
• Nuclear proliferation may be vertical and horizontal. Vertical proliferation is increase and modernization in nuclear armaments of ‘nuclear have’ countries, that is, USA, UK, Russia, France, China. Horizontal proliferation is more countries joining the nuclear club. For example, India, Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea becoming nuclear states is horizontal proliferation.
