Difference between MNC and TNC
TNC is a commercial enterprise that operates substantial facilities, does business in more than one country and does not consider any particular country its national home. MNC has an international identity as belonging to a particular home country where they are headquartered. Not all MNC’s are transnational companies.
What is an MNC?
MNC are corporate organizations which are incorporated in one country (home country) but whose operations and assets extend beyond the home country in at-least 2 other countries (host countries)
Various ways in which corporations become trans or multinational
Greenfield investment- entirely new projects in host countries
Merger and acquisition - of the existing companies in host Nations
Strategic collaboration with the existing companies in host Nations
