Describe the Pathogenesis
Females found in aggregations
Highly contagious mite
Dry, encrusted, scaly lesions on edges of ears/on face
Skin - thickened appearance
Pruritis intense
How do you diagnose?
Skin scraping
How do you treat?
Treatment of pet will usually cure humans
Selamectin, ivermectin, fipronil - effective

It is ZOONOTIC!
